The
Pediatric Epilepsy Project |
Greg Grunberg |
|
The
son of Greg Grunberg, Jake, is just as heroic as
the characters his dad stars with. Jake was diagnosed
at a very young age with epilepsy.
Grunberg
is very involved to help fight epilepsy and raise awareness.
Earlier this year, Grunberg recruited his fellow Heroes
in an online
auction to benefit the cause. The auction raised thousands
of dollars.

Project and what you can do to help.
Grunberg
is also scheduled to participate in the National Walk
for Epilepsy in March 2007. Click

The
Sam Loeb Scholarship Fund |
Jeph Loeb |
|
Sam
Loeb was an amazing young man who was taken away from
us way too early.
Sam
was the son of prolific writer Jeph Loeb, who you
may know from his comic book work, but may also know from
his work as a writer and producer on such shows as Smallville,
Lost... and Heroes. He passed away at the age
of 17 in 2005.
In
the past, some of Loeb's contacts such as Smallville's
Erica Durance and artists like Tim Sale, Jim Lee, Michael
Turner, Rob Liefeld and others, have all done their part
to help raise money for an annual scholarship in Sam's
name. The scholarship goes to the student who "best
exemplifies Sam's qualities both as a student and as a
person - in other words, brilliant with a sense of humor,"
according to an article on Newsarama.com.

He has been involved in a couple of their productions,
