Powers: Although the exact nature of Niki's powers remains unknown, what is known so far is that she appears to share her body with her deceased sister Jessica who she can communicate with through reflective surfaces. During times of extreme emotion the Jessica personality takes over to try to make right whatever is bothering or threatening her sister. Niki appears to have no control of when the change takes place.

Character Biography: Nicole Sanders was born to an alcoholic father whom constantly abused her and her sister Jessica, who would often take the worst abuse from their father to protect Niki. Although little is known about the actual incident, sometime when they were both still quite young, Niki's father choked Jessica to death, whether Niki saw the incident or not is still a mystery as she seems to have no recollection of the event. Eventually Niki left home and became distanced from her father, meanwhile herself developing an alcohol and gambling addiction.

Sometime during this middle period Niki met and married D.L. Hawkins and they had a child together, Micah. Niki eventually sought out help for her addiction and succeeded. Around this time D.L. was sent to jail accused of a crime he had been framed for by an unknown assailant.

To be able to send Micah to a school she thought he deserved Niki took out a loan from the enigmatic Mr. Linderman and started doing internet peep shows to raise the money to pay him back. When that didn't prove to be as successful as she expected Linderman sent some thugs to collect from her, after attempting to humiliate her and physically abusing her, Niki blacked out to wake up in a room with the two men torn apart. Around this time Niki also began to notice that her reflection wasn't really her own, but moving independently often signaling to her and smiling maliciously back at her.

After the incident with the thugs, Niki went to confide in her friend Tina and returned to her house to clean up the macabre scene only to find that there was nothing to be found and her entire garage had been packed up. Outside she found the thugs' car parked for her with a note and a map, upon opening the trunk she found the bodies of Linderman's employees and realized that the map was where she had to bury them. She packed Micah up and they left in an attempt to run away.

Eventually she was apprehended by some of Linderman's associates and told that her debt would be forgotten if she could help him get black mail material against Congressional candidate Nathan Petrelli, by sleeping with him and having pictures taken, she declined but eventually her alternate persona took over and did the job for her. After returning home and finding the police surrounding her house looking for D.L. who had escaped from jail she met Ando Musashi one of the clients from her website who had recognized her and followed her to her house wanting to meet her.

She was soon reunited with D.L. who had escaped from prison after discovering his own powers to phase through solid objects. This is when her alternate persona began talking to her and confided that she was the one who had set D.L. up and taken the money and hidden it, she ordered Niki to get the money and take Micah away to safety. Niki climbed into the crawl space to get the money where her alternate persona had hidden it only to be caught by D.L. to believe his wife had been the one who set him up. Sensing the danger to Niki her other half came out and fought with D.L. for a short period before being incapacitated. D.L. took the money and Micah and left Niki lying on the floor apparently dead.

After waking up Niki had a short talk with Tina until her darker half took over and told Tina that Niki would no longer need her help. After finding out where D.L. and Micah were through a phone call Micah placed (he was able to tell he was not speaking to his mother), Niki's alternate persona, her deceased sister Jessica, went on a hunt for her brother in law and nephew but now when Jessica looked in the mirror she saw Niki looking back at her pleading for her to stop. Eventually Jessica caught up to them and attempted to kill D.L. only to fail, eventually she confronted the two and in a rage flung Micah against some rocks which forced Niki to assume control of her own body again. Knowing that the two people she loved most wouldn't be safe with her around she turned herself over to the police.

Actor Biography: Ali Larter, a New Jersey native, began her career as a fashion model at the young age of 13. After traveling around the world and living in various places ranging from Japan to Miami, she finally settled down in Los Angeles where she began to pursue a career in acting. To date she has appeared in many movies portraying a wide range of characters, from the gassy cat burglar Chrissy in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, to the solitary Clear Rivers in the first two Final Destination movies. She will also be portraying the iconic video game character Claire Redfield in the upcoming Resident Evil: Extinction.
