Out of sheer curiosity (I only discovered your reviews a few months ago), I decided to go back and re-read some of your reviews of season one, because I thought it would be highly amusing to see what was supposed/guessed at/theorized about at the time it aired.

And obviously, commenting on it is fairly unnecessary, but I thought I might as well anyway.

Even here, I can agree with you nearly 100%. Though I must say, you were just a bit harsh on Peter. Was he being selfish in the first part of that "family brunch" scene? Yes. Did he deserve the comparisons to Simone? No. I was never under the impression that he was asking Nathan to do anything more than make a couple of phone calls to a man with whom the Petrelli family name is already connected. He didn't ask Nathan to drop everything and make the call right then and there in front of "that tweedy guy." It was just a "hey, once you're done with this brunch thing, could you do me a favor so I can make sense of this huge development in my life?" kind of thing, not necessarily an immediate demand to have his way at that exact second.
And, as you pointed out, he pretty much made up for it by taking the fall on Nathan's Major Niki/Jessica Cheating Mistake.

These early reviews are extremely interesting. It's nice to go back to the time when there were no viruses and no formulas and Sylar was just a crazy serial killer with megalomania and a lot of serious issues. I'm thoroughly entertained.
