Although in many ways the character was wildly inconsistent throughout the show's final years, it is surely a testament to the work of actor Zachary Quinto that Sylar took this year's HeroSite Award for Favorite Character.
Sylar took 33.5% of the vote in a category filled with many characters.
Hopefully we'll be seeing a lot more of Mr. Quinto in the future, beyond the inevitable Star Trek sequels. But we do give our thanks for four seasons of good work.
Coming in second place for Favorite Character is the literal "other side of the coin" - Peter Petrelli, as played by Milo Ventimiglia.
Votes for Peter came in a respectable second position with 27% of all votes.
Coming much further down on the list, but still third place, was Masi Oka's Hiro Nakamura.
And that concludes the fourth and final HeroSite Awards. Thanks to everyone who participated this year... it's been fun. Who knows, maybe some day Heroes will be revived and we'll be doing this all over again.
