Hayden Panettiere is only 17 years old, but she already has a wealth of experience and talent beyond people who are twice her age.

As Claire Bennet, Hayden had to deal with the challenges of playing a teen whose life is turned upside down. She also had some very strong moments in her performance - especially when acting against Jack Coleman as her father, Mr. Bennet, and in scenes with the man who turned out to be her "uncle," Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia).

Hayden swept this category with 67% of the vote, despite being up against 5 other actresses. Coming in second in the Best Actress category - quite a feat, considering being up against Hayden - was Ali Larter (Niki/Jessica) who went home with 20%. In other words, most people who voted in this category voted for either Hayden or Ali. Both did great jobs this past year.
