Milo Ventimiglia first came to prominence for his role as Jess on The WB's Gilmore Girls, but it was Heroes and Peter Petrelli that brought him the fame and recognition that he deserved.

30% of the fans who voted in the HeroSite Awards felt that Milo was the perfect Petrelli brother to take the first-ever award for Best Actor.

The journey of the idealistic Peter - from his initial dreams of flying through to saving the cheerleader and his final sacrifice - was a popular one, and fans tuned in to see what Milo (and Peter) would do next. The Best Actor race was a competitive one - Milo was only 82 votes ahead of the #2 choice, Masi Oka, who had 24% of the vote.
