Seems like just yesterday that we were looking at artwork for Season 1 of the original Heroes… Continue reading
NBC has released all of the Heroes Reborn digital prequel “Dark Matters” onto the Heroes Reborn app, and now it’s available on Google Play!
Here’s the pres release with details + where to get it.
Tim Kring is the creative genius who gave us Heroes nine years ago, and on September 24, he takes us back to that world with the new NBC “event series” Heroes Reborn.
Robbie Kay and Danika Yarosh are two of the new faces of Heroes Reborn, and today our Comic-Con roundtable interview spotlight falls on the two of them.
Very quickly on the original run of Heroes, Jack Coleman’s H.R.G. became a key component, and is now the connector that bridges the original series with Heroes Reborn. His Noah Bennet – first treated in promotions as a very bad man – and his love for his daughter, Claire, is one of the most enduring things about the original series.
Greg Grunberg also impressed audiences as mind reader and manipulator Matt Parkman, who, despite some not so good choices at times, was a good guy, and ultimately wanted the best for people. Grunberg is back, too, for Heroes Reborn, though not in as big of a role as Coleman will be having.
You saw us talking about how awesome it was, and now you can see it for yourself: Video of the Heroes Reborn Comic-Con panel, courtesy of NBC!
Greg Grunberg, Jack Coleman, Zachary Levi, Masi Oka, Robbie Kay, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Ryan Guzman, Gatlin Green, Henry Zebrowski, Judith Shekoni, Danika Yarosh and Rya Kihlstedt are all in this video, and some of them might reveal their very dirty superhero names while they’re at it!
Enjoy the video, and look for some more video interviews soon!
While we saved our gallery of photos from the panel and the press room for our general TV news site, KSiteTV, NBC also released some pics of the cast of Heroes Reborn checking out the Heroes-related goodies at Comic-Con this year.
Check out the photos below, including some pictures of H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) with a cheerleader…
Heroes Reborn is a thing that is happening, an awesome trailer was shown at Comic-Con, and we were able to interview some cast members of the new show as well as creator Tim Kring after the panel.
Since HeroSite.net started as a site for the classic Heroes, we felt the best first interview to share would be with Masi Oka, who played Hiro Nakamura on the first show and is returning for the new one. Being, well, us, we also asked where Ando might be. But first, someone at our roundtable asked about what it’s like to return to the iconi role and franchise.
“It’s strange, it’s ecstatic, it’s bittersweet… it’s like a mix of emotion,” Masi says. “When I first did it, it was weird, but it felt natural after like one or two days. ‘Oh, okay, this is what it was.’ And then most of the time, my character gets to work with some new folks but a lot of old folks [from] the original series, and we had a director, Allan Arkush, who directed the original series as well. It was kind of cool.”
Our apologies for not posting this on the site yesterday, but to our credit, we were getting some interviews for our readers while we were there, so hopefully that makes up for it.
In any event… here is the AMAZING Heroes Reborn trailer shown at Comic-Con yesterday. Is it September 24 yet?
Could we be talking about Heroes Reborn Season 2 this time next year?
